2. General information

Rappelkiste.de can be used without registration or a user account. Random selections are performed in the browser. We currently use no analytics or tracking services and set no cookies.

Personal data is processed only where necessary to provide and secure the website, improve the available tools, respond to enquiries or enable the use of external affiliate links.

3. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, proprietor René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany.

When the website is accessed, the hosting provider processes in particular the IP address, date and time of access, requested page or file, transferred volume, access status, previously visited page and information about the browser and operating system. This processing is necessary to deliver the website, maintain its stability and prevent attacks or misuse.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website. The hosting provider generally deletes server logs after no more than seven days. Longer storage may be required in the event of a security incident.

4. Use of the random tools and statistics

To improve the service, we record which tools, languages and usage modes are used. No user accounts, advertising IDs or permanent user identifiers are created.

When a tool is run, the entered or modified choices, settings, generated result, an optional title and the date and time may also be processed. This information can be personal data, for example when names are entered. Please do not enter sensitive or confidential information.

Processing helps us identify frequently used functions, improve existing defaults and develop the service according to users’ needs. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the improvement and development of the website.

Individual usage records are deleted after 365 days. Consolidated statistical evaluations are stored only for as long as required for the stated purposes.

5. Temporary browser storage

If several custom choices are entered on the home page, they are stored temporarily in the current browser tab so they can be passed to the requested tool. The information is removed immediately after it has been transferred and is not stored permanently in the browser.

This storage is strictly necessary to provide the function expressly requested by the user. It is used without consent under section 25(2)(2) TDDDG.

6. Amazon affiliate links

The website contains labelled affiliate links to Amazon.de. No connection to Amazon is made before you click such a link. Only when you open it do you leave Rappelkiste.de and your browser connects to Amazon.

Amazon is responsible for subsequent processing under its own privacy notice. If the visit results in a qualifying purchase, we may receive a commission. This does not change the price you pay.

7. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process your email address, the content and time of your message and any attachments. Processing is carried out to handle and answer your enquiry.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where the enquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual steps, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR also applies. The data is deleted once the enquiry has been conclusively resolved unless statutory retention duties or legitimate reasons require longer storage.

8. Recipients of personal data

Personal data is received only by parties that need it for the purposes described above. These include in particular the hosting provider, service providers involved in email communication where applicable, and internally authorised persons. Data is disclosed to other recipients only where permitted or required by law.

9. Your rights

Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. You can use the email address below to exercise your rights. Because the usage statistics contain no user identifier, it may not be possible to assign individual records to a particular person afterwards.

10. Automated decisions
