Random Team Generator
Split people into random, evenly sized teams.
Names
Draw again? If you repeat a random result until it suits you, it is no longer truly random. Wanting a different result may already be telling you what you actually prefer.
How to use Random Team Generator
Enter the names and number of teams. After shuffling, Rappelkiste deals people into teams as evenly as the numbers allow.
Useful for
- Sports sessions
- Workshop groups
- Party games
Frequently asked questions
Is the result genuinely random?
Yes. All names are shuffled fairly first, then dealt round-robin into teams that are as even in size as possible.
Can I change the presets?
Yes. The preset entries are only a practical starting point. You can add to them, rename them or replace the entire list.
Do I need an account?
No. The tool runs directly in your browser with no sign-up.
